  • There is a three-month minimum for enrollment in the studio.

  • After the initial three-month period ends, lessons will continue on a month-by-month basis.

  • After the original three-month enrollment period, one-month notice is required to discontinue any lessons.

  • Withdrawal must occur within the first 7 days of the month.

  • All charges will stop after the one-month notice period. Gao Music Academy reserves the right to terminate lessons for any students without notice. In such a case, a refund for unused lessons will be given.

  2.  Complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the school office.

  • 48 lessons are given over a one-year period of instruction (January 1 – December 31), with approximately four lessons given each month (which exact amount will vary month to month).  The teacher’s vacation schedule will be made available online at www.gaomusicacademy.com/calendar and will also be announced via email and via notification in the waiting room one-month in advance.

  • No refunds are given for missed lessons. Make-up lessons will be limited to 3 per calendar year, are reserved for emergencies and medical illnesses, and require 24-hours advance notice unless due to a force majeure. (Any other activities such as school or family activities/programs, vacations, trips, etc. do not qualify for make-up lessons.)

  • If the teacher is ill or otherwise unable to hold class (other than due to a force majeure or scheduled vacation), any missed classes will be made up. If class cancellation is primarily due to a force majeure, however, the teacher will in good faith attempt to reschedule classes, when feasible, but is not obligated to hold make-up classes.

  • Once scheduled, make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled. In other words, a make-up lesson will not be given for a missed make-up lesson.

  • Students who are late for a lesson cannot be guaranteed their lesson time. Late student’s classes will end promptly at the original-scheduled time regardless of when the student arrives.
