The Musicianship & Keyboard Lab is a small-group program that may be taken either as a stand-alone music program or as a supplement to private piano lessons.

This program is designed to help students build a stronger musical foundation through note reading, rhythm, sight-reading, sight-singing, basic music theory, ear training, listening, written musicianship, and guided keyboard practice.

Each 60-minute lab includes approximately 30 minutes of musicianship training and 30 minutes of supervised keyboard lab activities. During the keyboard portion, students may work on supervised practice, technique drills, piano homework review, note-reading reinforcement, rhythm exercises, and additional assignments based on their level and goals.

For students already enrolled in private lessons, the lab provides extra support and structured practice time to help them progress more consistently. For students who are not currently taking private lessons, the lab offers an affordable and well-rounded introduction to music learning in a focused group setting.

Each lab is limited to a small group of up to six students. Placement depends on the student’s age, level, goals, and schedule availability.
