Reya, at 9 years old, has the warmest heart with a passion for learning. When she is not enjoying herself playing the piano, she is reading magical stories or on fun outings with her friends. Slime, dogs & performing on stage are her favorite things and she is excited for today’s performance.

Caden, age 7, is a new Austinite who moved from San Antonio this past June. Since starting piano last summer, he has discovered a passion for music theory and learning notes. He loves sitting at the keys and is very happy to be playing in his first recital.

Sophie is a Kindergartener at St. Michael's Catholic Preparatory school who brings her competitive spirit from the field to the keys. At five and a half years old, Sophie is a true "Leap Day Birthday" girl who balances her love for piano with a wide array of athletic passions, including soccer, gymnastics, and golf. When she isn’t practicing, she loves spending time with her big sister, Chloe, and her little brother, Aiden.

Axel Gao is 5 years old and has been studying with Ms. Gao since 2024. He loves playing piano with his sister. He is always excited to play soccer and video games in his free time.

Ada is 5 years old and has been learning piano for half a year—by her own choice! She loves making up songs, solving puzzles, and learning new things. A kind and independent little helper, Ada enjoys caring for others and exploring the world with curiosity. 🌱

Ariel Xie, age 6, with 1.5 years of joyful practice with Miss Gao! She has loved finding joy in expressing happiness through piano. Hope you enjoy her performance today!

Vivienne is a first grader at St. Michael’s Preparatory School. She loves cats, basketball, and swimming. She’s an amazing big sister to her brother, James. She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She’s been playing piano for almost one year and fills our home with beautiful music!

Fraser Rawls (age 8) lives in Lakeway and has played piano for 3 months. He plays piano because it sounds good! His favorite music is from 'David' the musical. Fraser enjoys reading, running, playing with friends and most of all playing football on the Falcons!

Sienna is in 2nd grade and she loves to sing, dance and play soccer! She loves dogs and playing with her friends and cousins!

Jaya is currently in kindergarten and has been learning piano with Mrs. Gao for six months.  She is fascinated by translating notes into music and loves the ballet classics by Tchaikovsky. Besides piano, Jaya enjoys dancing ballet and painting!

Indie is in 4th grade and loves playing soccer and tennis. She loves her new tamagotchi and playing with her friends and cousins!

I am a curious and courageous Grade 4 student who loves Science and Geography. I enjoy karate, basketball, skating, and drawing. I play piano, guitar and learning piano from scratch. My favorite book is Dog Man. I dream of owning a plane and serving in the military.

Chloe Gao is 7 years old and has been studying with Ms. Gao since 2024. She has a deep love for music and especially enjoys playing piano and singing. Outside of music, Chloe enjoys Taekwondo, swimming, dancing and art.

Arkin Upadhyay is a 7-year-old second grader at St. Michael’s Preparatory School. He has been learning piano for the past year and loves playing classic piano pieces. Arkin also enjoys music and dance and aims to write his own music.

Shaambhavi is a 6-year-old who loves tennis, swimming, gymnastics, Bharatanatyam, and music. She enjoys Indian Hindustani music and piano and has a keen ear for rhythm and melody. Energetic and enthusiastic, she finds music and dance calming and expressive.

Hi, I'm Austin Volz and I'm nine years old. I started taking piano lessons in September 2025 and I love it! My day job includes being homeschooled, STEM projects and reading everything I can about history. I enjoy swimming competitively, learning survival skills and playing the piano for God's Glory.
