My son and daughter have been studying piano with Ms.Yunxiang since past 4 years. I must admit this was our 4th or 5th music academy and we were apprehensive when we started there since our expectations were very high. BUT We have been thrilled at the quality of the piano teaching, the method of teaching and MOST importantly how Ms.Yunxiang ensure the kids are engaged and interested.

To make my point- I don’t have to ask my kids to practice- they get so excited about their pieces that they want to come home and practice!!!

I started to take piano lessons from Ms.Yunxiang last year. At the beginning not only could I not play any musical instruments, I couldn’t even read musical notes. Therefore, going into this I really didn’t have very high expectations that I would improve much in a year. Fast forward to today and I now manage to read musical notes and play the pieces written by classical composers such as Bach, Handel and Brahms!

Parents are allowed and welcome to sit through lessons, so they can observe the learning/teaching style and better assist practices at home. My son not only enjoyed coming to his piano lesson every Saturday but he looked forward to practicing what he learned from class at home as often as 6 days a week. He wasn’t being forced to practice he just simply loved the music and the piano.  By the end of the course, my son was not only reading his notes very well but he was able to play songs (by ear) that were not even taught in class!  We absolutely loved Yunxiang. She made us (my son, my wife and I) want to learn how to play the piano... What a privilege it has been for my family to have such wonderful teacher!

We love Ms.Yunxiang! Both of our daughters, who are now 12 and 9 years old, started piano lesson with Ms.Yunxiang when they were about 9 and 6 years old. Both of our daughters have a lot of natural talent, and Ms.Yunxiang really helped them fill in the gaps and become a very well-rounded pianists. By providing a variety of challenging material, Ms.Yunxiang helped our daughters prepare to perform in musical theater, and passed many exams. Ms.Yunxiang is also a lovely person, very kind and caring.

I would certainly recommend Ms.Yunxiang to my friends (and have). Very good place to take kids for music lessons — group lessons, private lessons, and even for the really little kids. My husband wants to take some piano lessons there too, but hasn’t had time yet. Ms.Yunxiang is outstanding, and works amazingly well with children.
